Dr. Laura Azzu is originally from Chapel Hill, NC. After completing her undergraduate degree in Biology from Peace College, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of North Carolina in 2014.
Dr Azzu began practicing dentistry in Wilmington, NC before moving back to the Triangle. Dr Azzu has been working at Sunrise Dental for the past ten years, and believes in a philosophy where each patient is treated the same way she would treat a member of her family. Listening to patients’ concerns, ensuring they are as comfortable as possible, and providing quality treatment are her top priorities. From customizing treatment plans for each individual patient to learning new techniques with the latest technology, Dr. Azzu is always willing to go the extra mile to make your dental experience the absolute best it can be. Dr Azzu also places a high priority on being available to her patients and is able to answer a question or concern at any time.
When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr Azzu enjoys cooking, taking care of her many houseplants, and watching any Tar Heel sport with her husband.
