Sunrise Dental is proud to sponsor the 2015 Henry Green Memorial Fund. The Henry Green Memorial Fund is an organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding for research and treatment of Metachromatic Leukodystrophy and other childhood metabolic diseases. Helen Green, Henry Green’s mom, started the memorial fund after her son passed away from Metachromatic Leukodystrophy in December 2012. Last year was the first annual Henry Green Memorial Fund Event, which included a golf tournament, silent auction and dinner. All proceeds were given to The Oligo Project at Duke Children’s Hospital, a project dedicated to research for terminal pediatric brain diseases. The 2014 event raised just over $30,000. This year, The Henry Green Memorial Fund Event will be held at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course and Carol Johnson Poole Clubhouse in Raleigh, NC on Monday, April 27, 2015. There will be a golf tournament, silent auction and dinner. The golf tournament will begin at 10:00AM and the dinner and silent auction at 5:30 PM.
